The Bee & Bear is a bespoke retreat destination in Southwest Alberta run by three sisters with deep homesteading roots. They had a logo and a story worth telling, but no brand, a lacking web presence, and no way to translate who they were into something a guest could find and trust online. They needed a team that could honour their legacy and turn it into something that booked.
We started with almost nothing and built everything: a complete visual identity, typographic system, colour story, and custom illustrations that matched the company they were becoming rather than the one they'd been. We then built a website that put their family legacy and women-run story front and centre, using their own home videos to bring the emotional heart of the brand to life. The result was a presence that felt as distinctive and warm as the place itself.
