We’ve partnered with our friends at Tribe Real Estate Co. to bring you a series of captivating interviews with Edmonton entrepreneurs who are creating successful brands in unique and inspiring ways.

All of our interviewees are harnessing the power of community and social media to build unique business models that are having a big impact in the city.

There are five interviews in our series and we’re so excited to share them all with you, each offering different nuggets of insight on marketing, brand development, and how to go the distance, even when things get tough -- like, say, a global pandemic.

Sushi By Vinh

Our next interview in the Community Corner Series is with Sushi By Vinh, and if you know, you know. This guy has truly changed the sushi game in Edmonton, creating the hottest at-home ten-course dining experience out there.

Back when in-person gatherings were allowed, booking a private event with Vinh usually meant year-long wait times. In response to Covid-19, Vinh pivoted his business model, creating the ‘Sushi Box By Vinh’, where 100 delicious boxes of sushi are released every Monday.

Trust us when we say ordering one of these boxes is almost impossible. They sell out in under 20 seconds and all most of us can do is stare at his delicious cuts of fresh fish with awe via Instagram.

Vinh himself is a born entertainer and a big personality, even though it may not seem like it at first. You can feel the intensity of his energy within a few seconds, but he speaks with refreshing candour and honesty. We were intrigued by his humble beginnings and inspired by his passion for the future.
